This panel, which includes 29 amino acids, is intended to assess the metabolic profile of the body. It allows for the detection of metabolic disorders, assessment of nutritional status, and monitoring of treatment effectiveness in certain diseases, including congenital metabolic disorders and critical conditions.

The panel provides quantitative testing for the detection of functional metabolic changes (29 amino acids). Amino acids and their metabolites are involved in metabolic processes in the body. A defect in enzymes at different stages of substance transformation may lead to the accumulation of amino acids and their metabolic products and have a negative effect on the entire body.

The test helps determine the levels of amino acids and their derivatives in the blood, assess the state of amino acid metabolism, and diagnose (in the presence of characteristic symptoms) disorders of amino acid metabolism.

• Assessment of nutritional status and metabolic stress: malnutrition and malabsorption, catabolic states (in severe diseases, injuries, burns, sepsis, oncological diseases), monitoring of patients receiving parenteral nutrition.
• Diagnosis and monitoring of liver and kidney diseases: liver failure, kidney failure.
• Assessment of the condition in certain neurological and psychiatric disorders: some amino acids are neurotransmitters or their precursors (for example, tryptophan (serotonin), tyrosine (dopamine, norepinephrine), glutamic acid, glycine, taurine). An imbalance in their levels may be associated with certain conditions.
