Everolimus is a drug from the group of immunosuppressants. It is used by patients who have undergone organ transplantation. The drug is highly toxic. Given the need for long-term use, it is essential to select the optimal dose (effective and safe).
Determining the dynamics of the drug concentration in the blood allows you to adjust the dose easily, safely and effectively. The test is used to assess the level of everolimus in the blood, adjust its dose and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment in patients after organ transplantation.
When and who needs the test?
To determine the optimal dosing regimen, control the effectiveness and toxicity of therapy, timely detection of significant drug interactions, suspected suspected side effects of the drug, when used together, as well as after the abolition of drugs that have common metabolic pathways with everolimus.
