9347. Parvovirus B19, IgG antibodies
Description
Opisthorchiasis is a severe parasitic disease that affects the tissues of the liver and pancreas. Infection occurs when eating improperly cooked fish. The immune system reacts to contact with Opisthorchis felineus by secreting specific antibodies.
Determination of IgG antibodies allows to confirm the etiological role of the parasite in the development of the disease in its acute phase. The test is used to diagnose acute opisthorchiasis and its differential diagnosis with infectious and non-infectious diseases of the liver and pancreas.

- diagnosis of the causes of dropsy in newborns;
