Description
Lead is a highly toxic heavy metal. Once in the body, it accumulates in the nervous, bone tissues, kidneys and liver. Over time, it causes disturbances in the functioning of the nervous and immune systems, mental disorders, anemia, hypertension, renal failure. Determination of lead levels is used to diagnose, determine the severity and select a treatment for this metal intoxication. It is better to combine it with general and biochemical blood tests, urine tests.
When and who needs the test?
