Description
Cannabinoids are substances that are the main narcotic constituents of hashish and marijuana (drugs made from hemp). Like all drugs, cannabinoids are addictive and toxic to the body.
Determination of the presence of cannabinoids in a person's blood makes it possible to confirm the intake of marijuana or hashish.
The test is used to diagnose drug addiction, overdose, as well as in judicial practice.
The study is best carried out in conjunction with the assessment of the presence of other drugs in the blood.
When and who needs the test?
- to identify the use of prohibited substances;
- when using narcotic drugs for medicinal purposes;
- when examining patients from risk groups regarding substance use;
