Vitamin B6 is a substance from the group of water-soluble vitamins. It is involved in metabolism, ensuring the functioning of the nervous system, the synthesis of many proteins, enzymes and hormones. With its deficiency, dry skin, signs of inflammation of the mucous membranes, peripheral neuropathies, general weakness, malaise, dizziness appear.
This test, in combination with the test of other vitamins from group B, is used to diagnose hypovitaminosis, malabsorption syndrome, metabolic disorders, and identify the root causes of the development of neuritis.
