9169. Gliadin, IgG antibodies
Description
IgG antibodies to gliadin appear when gluten enters the gastrointestinal tract in susceptible individuals and are a marker of celiac disease. This pathology is manifested by the following symptoms: vomiting, abdominal pain, dermatitis, anemia, visual impairment, epilepsy.
The BP test is used to diagnose celiac disease and to assess the efficacy of a gluten-free diet. It is also a screening method for examining type 1 diabetes mellitus and Hashimoto's autoimmune thyroiditis.
In the complex, tests are prescribed for IgA antibodies to gliadin, blood pressure to tissue transglutaminase and blood pressure to endomysium.
