Description
Tick-borne encephalitis is an infectious disease with a characteristic lesion of the nervous system. The disease is caused by viruses of the Flaviviridae family, which enter the human body through the bites of ixodid ticks.
Detection of IgM antibodies can confirm the diagnosis of acute tick-borne encephalitis. The test is used for the diagnosis of tick-borne encephalitis and for the differential diagnosis of various neurological and infectious diseases.
