Description

Colon polyposis is a disease characterized by the formation of pathological growths on the mucous tissues of the colon. At the initial stages of development, the growth is benign, but later there is a high probability of degeneration into a malignant nature.

The production of histological tissue preparations with subsequent study under a microscope – PMF – allows you to determine the cellular composition, identify pathological changes, verify the diagnosis and choose a treatment program.

When and who needs the test?

The biological material is collected by a doctor. The collected material is delivered to the laboratory.

The study is conducted to obtain additional information to establish the characteristics of the course, severity of the lesion in order to determine the prognosis, volume and treatment plan.
