Description
Myomectomy is a surgical intervention aimed at removing myomatous nodes of the uterus. The tissues removed during the operation must be transferred to a histological (pathomorphological) study, which will help to find out their origin and clarify the diagnosis.
The test is to to differentiate between malignant and benign neoplasms of the uterus and is an important part of the final diagnosis and choice of further treatment.
When and who needs the test?
The test is carried out to assess the risk of pathological changes in the tissue and cells of the uterine myoma node.
