Description
Pathomorphological examination with immunohistochemical determination of progesterone receptors – is a morphological assessment of tissues with analysis of progesterone receptor expression in the cells of the examined material.
When and who needs the test?
- during pathomorphological examination when assessment of hormonal receptor expression is required;
- in cases of morphological tissue changes that require clarification of hormonal sensitivity;
- as an immunohistochemical stage within PMF;
- for extended morphological characterization of tissue;
- in complex or ambiguous pathomorphological cases.
