Description
Pathomorphological examination with immunohistochemical determination of the CD138 marker is a morphologic evaluation of tissue with analysis of CD138 expression used to clarify the cellular composition and morphologic features of the examined material.
When and who needs the test?
- when performing a pathomorphological examination with the need to clarify the cellular composition of the tissue;
- in cases of morphological changes that require extended immunohistochemical evaluation;
- as an additional immunohistochemical step within the pathomorphological examination;
- to provide a more detailed characterization of the morphological features of the examined material;
- in complex or ambiguous pathomorphological cases.
