NGS analysis of the gut microbiome is a modern, high-tech method that allois aimed at the qualitative and quantitative determination of gut microbiome composition using DNA sequencing. This method identifies over 2,000 species of bacteria, archaea, fungi, and viruses, assessing their relative abundance, interrelationships, and impact on human health.

The gut microbiome is a complex ecosystem of trillions of microorganisms that play a role in digestion, vitamin synthesis (B12, K), immune function, pathogen defense, and even mood and metabolism regulation.
