Description
Almost everything in the human body (from hair color to predisposition to diseases) is determined by its genetic material. All human genetic material is encoded in 23 pairs of chromosomes.
Drawing up a chromosome passport allows to qualitatively and quantitatively test the features of the structure of chromosomes and determine their defects, as well as diagnose genetic diseases.
When and who needs the test?
Infertility (primary or secondary), recurrent miscarriage, stillbirth, or birth of a child with MVVR (multiple congenital malformations) in history, male factor infertility (including impaired spermatogenesis), gamete donation, MVVR, mental retardation, violation. Persons may also be referred for karyotyping to clarify or confirm the diagnosis or previous genetic studies.

Preparing for a blood test
In order to exclude factors that may affect the test results, we recommend to follow the preparation rules:
- an important condition for laboratory tests is to take blood on an empty stomach.
