Опис
Bacteriological examination allows for the isolation and identification of etiologically significant microorganisms – the causative agents of bacterial inflammation in the ear canal. It is performed in the presence of symptoms such as ear pain, congestion, a sensation of pulsation in the ear, fever, purulent discharge from the ear, hearing loss, or itching. The test is used to determine the etiology of conditions such as serous or purulent otitis, furuncle, and others. In cases where bacterial pathogens are isolated in a sufficient titer, their sensitivity / resistance to a range of antibacterial drugs is evaluated using an analyzer in accordance with EUCAST and CLSI standards.
