The package ‘Determination of antibodies to erythrocytes according to the AB0 system’ is a screening study that is designed to determine antibodies to the clinically most important erythrocyte antigens that characterize the body's sensitization to these antigens. These immunoglobulins are a possible factor leading to the development of hemolytic disease of the newborn.
Indications for appointment: determination of the conflict according to the AB0 system, diagnosis of the causes of blood transfusion complications, differential diagnosis of possible factors in the development of hemolytic disease of the newborn. Also, the study can be prescribed for: repeated miscarriage, history of spontaneous abortions, screening of pregnant women at risk, in the preparation for blood transfusion, during hematological examination of patients with blood transfusion complications.
