Description
A comprehensive laboratory test designed to determine the etiology of abnormal vaginal discharge. Combines PCR screening for Chlamydia trachomatis, Mycoplasma genitalium, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Gardnerella vaginalis, Candida spp., and Lactobacillus spp. with bacteriological culture complemented by an antibiotic susceptibility test and minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) determination.
The study enables the differential diagnosis of bacterial, fungal, aerobic, and specific vaginitis. Automated identification of microorganisms is performed using MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry on the MALDI Biotyper sirius IVD System analyzer (Bruker, Germany). If pathogenic microflora is detected, antibiotic susceptibility testing is performed to ensure personalized treatment selection.

- In cases of abnormal vaginal discharge, unpleasant odor, itching, or discomfort.
- In suspected STIs or vaginitis of various etiologies.
- For follow-up after antibiotic therapy or recurrent vaginitis.
- In cases of microbiota imbalance (dysbiosis) or frequent genitourinary infections.
- During pre-pregnancy or preoperative examination.
- To assess vaginal microflora after prolonged antibiotic use, contraceptive application, or hormone therapy.
