Description
Diagnostic package for bacterial vaginosis as one of the most common causes of abnormal vaginal discharge.
When and who needs the test?
- all women with vaginal discharge for the diagnosis of BV, considering the presence of pathogens;
- all women with recurrent BV to assess the degree of dysbiosis;
- all women before gynecological invasive interventions;
- women for pregnancy planning;
- to monitor the effectiveness of treatment.

Preparing for urogenital sampling
The sampling of biomaterial is carried out only in women.
- Avoid sexual intercourse for 3 days.
- Do not take antibacterial drugs for 14 days.
- Within 3 days, exclude douching and the use of vaginal suppositories (suppositories), ointments, gels, tampons.
