Package No. 427 is a comprehensive PCR test is elaborated to detect five major sexually transmitted infection (STI) pathogens. The first morning urine sample is used for testing, making the test extremely convenient, non-invasive, and accurate.

This real-time PCR test detects pathogen DNA in urine even with a low microbial load, including asymptomatic carriers. Unlike culture or swab tests, PCR has high sensitivity and specificity.

STIs can remain asymptomatic for a long time, but can cause complications:

• chronic urethritis, prostatitis;
• decreased fertility;
• complications during conception;
• infection of the partner.

What is the purpose of the test?

• Early diagnosis of chlamydia, gonorrhea, trichomoniasis, ureaplasmosis, and mycoplasmosis.
• Detection of infections with minimal or subtle symptoms.
• Prescribing appropriate antibacterial therapy.
• Prevention of complications: urethritis, prostatitis, epididymitis.
