Description
Infection with the herpes virus type 6 can be fraught with the development of several serious diseases in children and adults (lymphogranulomatosis, Crohn's disease, sarcoidosis, Sjögren's syndrome, and others).
If the virus penetrates the blood-brain barrier, the nervous system can be drawn into the pathological process.
