Description
Package No. 150 is intended for the diagnosis of urogenital infections in the urine by the polymerase chain reaction method. This is a research method that allows early detection of RNA or DNA of pathogens in the biomaterial.
It is advisable to prescribe this package in the presence of such symptoms: pain in the inguinal region, aggravated by urination, urination disorders, discomfort during sexual intercourse, menstrual irregularities in women, burning, itching, purulent or foamy discharge from the urethra, fever. It is used for the diagnosis of mycoplasmosis, chlamydia, gonorrhea, trichomoniasis, ureaplasmosis, as well as for differential diagnosis with other diseases of the genitourinary system.
The biological material for the study is urine, which is delivered to the laboratory in a special sterile transport container. Before collecting urine, you should refrain from sexual intercourse and hygiene of the genitourinary tract.
