Description
PCR testing for Chlamydia trachomatis from urogenital swabs allows for accurate detection of the pathogen's DNA. This qualitative detection allows for diagnosis of the infection even in asymptomatic cases.
When and who needs the test?
- Women and men with symptoms of urogenital infection.
