Description
A test for IgA antibodies (immunoglobulins A) allows you to establish a recent infection with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, which is the causative agent of COVID-19, and to confirm the late phase of acute infection. It is advisable to determine IgA antibodies from the 10th day from the onset of the disease.
When and who needs the test?
Recommended with an increased risk of infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus upon contact with patients with COVID-19, traveling to epidemically unfavorable areas, if an asymptomatic course of COVID-19 is suspected, it is advisable to determine from the 10th day from contact with a sick person.
