Description
The package ‘Antibodies to helminths – standard’ is a set of tests elaborated to diagnose various types of helminthiases.
The examination includes the detection of giardiasis (Giardia, total antibodies), ascariasis (Ascaris lumbricoides, IgG antibodies), toxocariasis (Toxocara canis, IgG antibodies), opisthorchiasis (Opisthorchis felineus, IgG antibodies, IgG antibodies).
Symptoms include: an increase in regional lymph nodes, generalized or local edema, muscle and joint pain may occur. Also, when migrating, the larvae of the parasite can cause chest pains, coughing, asthma attacks, stool disorders, itching in the perianal region, nausea and vomiting. The development of more serious disorders in the acute phase of the disease is possible, depending on the type of pathogen
