Description
Inhibin B is a hormone that regulates sexual function in women and men by affecting the level of pituitary follicle-stimulating hormone.
The study of inhibin B levels is used to determine disorders of puberty in adolescence, to assess spermatogenesis in men and to diagnose certain forms of ovarian cancer in women.
To increase the information content of the test, it is desirable to perform it in conjunction with the assessment of the levels of FSH, LH, AMH, testosterone in men, estrogen in women.
When and who needs the test?

- Impaired spermatogenesis in men.
- Infertility in both men and women
