Description
Antinuclear antibodies (ANA) are specific immunoglobulins that bind to ribonucleic acid and proteins.
The test is used to examine people with risk groups for connective tissue diseases (systemic lupus erythematosus, scleroderma, etc.). In the presence of such symptoms: fatigue, fever, headache.
An immunoblot of antinuclear antibodies is advisable to use with a positive result of such tests as the determination of antinuclear antibodies, the detection of antinuclear factor (ANF), which indicates the presence of antinuclear antibodies in the serum.
