The Rheumatoid Panel-2 – is a set of laboratory indicators for the detection of certain autoimmune diseases. Autoimmune (rheumatic) diseases (AID) are a group of pathological conditions in which a person's immune system produces immune cells against the body's own tissues.
This examination method is prescribed for: detection of Sjögren's syndrome; Wegener's granulomatosis; damage to the liver, kidneys, lungs; SLE; malignant neoplasms; scleroderma; dermatomyositis; Waldenström's disease (macroglobulinemia); sarcoidosis; rheumatoid arthritis, determining the degree of pathology activity, monitoring the adequacy and effectiveness of the treatment.
Symptoms of autoimmune diseases are: pain in the joints, their deformity, starting stiffness, skin nodules, myositis, hemorrhagic rashes, urination disorders, endocarditis, prolonged subfebrile condition.
