Description
Echinococcus granulosus is a helminth that provokes the development of echinococcosis (a disease that is manifested by the formation of cysts and destruction in the tissues of the liver, lungs and other organs).
Determination of IgG antibody levels confirms the role of Echinococcus granulosus in the development of the disease.
The analysis is the most accurate method for diagnosing echinococcosis. In addition, it is used for the differential diagnosis of infectious and non-infectious diseases.
