Description
Toxoplasma gondii is an infectious agent that is especially dangerous for pregnant women. It can cause serious pathological changes in the nervous and many other systems. The immune system reacts to the presence of Toxoplasma in the body by secreting antibodies.
Evaluation of the avidity of IgG antibodies makes it possible to determine the activity of the immune response and to estimate the duration of toxoplasmosis infection.
