2068. Calcitonin
Description
Calcitonin is a hormone produced by the C-cells of the thyroid gland. It plays a role in regulating blood calcium levels, although its effect is relatively minor compared to parathyroid hormone and vitamin D.

It is best to test it together with TSH and other relevant markers.
