Description
Chlamydia pneumoniae is a widespread pathogen that is transmitted from a sick person to a healthy person by airborne droplets. Chlamydia pneumoniae is a common cause of bacterial bronchitis and pneumonia. The immune system releases antibodies to fight the pathogen.
The determination of specific IgA antibodies allows us to confirm the etiological role of the bacterium in the development of the disease.
The test is used to diagnose diseases of the respiratory system of chlamydial etiology and differential diagnosis of bronchitis and pneumonia of various origins.
