Description

RA is a systemic inflammatory disease of connective tissue with a predominant lesion of small joints with the development of destructive changes in the affected areas. The pathology is manifested by bilateral symmetrical involvement in the process of small joints, causing inflammation and deformity. Together with a joint syndrome note existence of preliminary rigidity of joints, sweating, asthenia, hypodermic vesicles, lymphadenopathy, serositis, vasculitis, myositis.

Laboratory tests reveal the presence of an inflammatory process in the body (C-reactive protein (CRP)), the presence of specific autoantibodies that affect the connective tissue of the joint (rheumatoid factor (RF)), early onset of the disease (cyclic citrullinated peptide (A-CCP), IgG antibodies; сitrullinated vimentin (MCV), IgG antibodies).
