Description

A comprehensive package for older men that makes it possible to assess the condition of the prostate gland, blood sugar and lipid levels, as well as the overall health of the body.

The package takes into account the most important aspects of health monitoring in older men.

  • Prostate-specific antigen total (PSA): measured to assess the condition of the prostate gland. Elevated PSA levels may indicate not only prostate cancer but also benign hyperplasia or inflammatory processes.
  • Lipid profile (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL, VLDL, atherogenic coefficient): helps assess the risk of atherosclerosis, coronary heart disease, and stroke.
  • Glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c): a key indicator of glucose control over the past 2–3 months. It is used for diagnosing and monitoring diabetes mellitus.
  • Complete blood count (CBC): reflects the state of the hematopoietic system and allows detection of anemia, inflammatory, or infectious processes.
  • ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate): a sensitive but nonspecific marker of inflammation, useful when combined with other tests.

Report with interpretation of laboratory indicators: a clear explanation of the obtained results and their clinical significance. Taken together, the package is aimed at the early detection of oncological, metabolic, and cardiovascular risks, which is especially important for older men.

When and who needs the test?

When?

  • Regularly, once a year — as part of a preventive examination.
  • If there are complaints related to urination, pain, or discomfort in the prostate area.
  • If cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus, or lipid metabolism disorders are suspected.
  • To monitor chronic conditions (diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease).

  • For men aged 50 and older, especially those with a hereditary predisposition to prostate cancer or cardiovascular diseases.
  • For patients with risk factors: smoking, excess weight, physical inactivity, diabetes, high blood pressure.
  • For those who want to monitor their health to prevent complications in time.
