Description

Creatinine is the end product of the metabolism of creatine and creatine phosphate. Creatine takes part in energy processes in muscle tissue. The intensity of creatinine excretion by the kidneys depends on the rate of protein breakdown in the muscles, the functional activity of the kidneys.

The study of creatinine levels in daily urine makes it possible to diagnose kidney diseases with high accuracy, to identify the causes of arterial hypertension. It should be carried out in conjunction with the determination of creatinine in the blood, creatine phosphokinase, ammonia, urea.

  • dynamic monitoring of patients with kidney pathology;
