Description
NASH-FibroTest is a non-invasive diagnosis of liver pathology using methods developed by BioPredictive (France). This is a set of tests that is used to diagnose and monitor the condition of the liver, in the presence of NASH, steatosis and fibrosis / cirrhosis of the liver using a single standard blood sample.
Diagnostic test NASH-FibroTest – an updated version and analogue of the comprehensive test FibroMax from BioPredictive (in contrast, it does not require information about the weight and height of the patient).
When and who needs the test?
- recommended for the diagnosis and monitoring of the liver in the presence of NASH, steatosis, and fibrosis/cirrhosis of the liver in patients with metabolic factors (i.e. overweight, hypertension, dyslipidemia, or type 2 diabetes);
- in coronary heart disease or when steatosis is detected at ultrasound examination;
- with viral hepatitis, toxic drug-induced hepatitis.
