Package No. 136 includes a set of tests elaborated to diagnose thrombophilia. It includes tests for homocysteine, IgG antibodies to cardiolipin, lupus anticoagulant, IgG antibodies to β-2-glycoprotein I.
Homocysteine is an amino acid involved in the regeneration of body cells.
Cardiolipin is a phospholipid that is present in blood plasma and is part of the inner membrane of mitochondria.
Lupus anticoagulant — immunoglobulin G directed against negatively charged phospholipids.
β-2-glycoprotein I is a glycosylated plasma protein that has anticoagulant properties.
These tests are taken in the presence of venous thrombosis, pulmonary hypertension, migraine, seizures, mental disorders. Package No. 136 is used to diagnose antiphospholipid syndrome in pathology of pregnancy, in oncology, with a decrease in platelets and to assess the risk of developing thrombosis.
