A comprehensive hormonal profile assessment makes it possible to evaluate the function of the pituitary gland, thyroid gland, and reproductive system. It is recommended in cases of menstrual irregularities, infertility, hyperprolactinemia, suspected PCOS, or delayed puberty.

The panel includes five key hormones that affect reproductive function, ovulation, the menstrual cycle, and the function of the thyroid gland and pituitary gland:

• IGF-1 – insulin-like growth factor, reflects growth hormone activity and influences ovarian function and ovulation;
• FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone) – regulates follicular growth in women and spermatogenesis in men;
• prolactin – elevated levels may impair ovulation and cause amenorrhea or infertility;
• LH (luteinizing hormone) – essential for ovulation and the formation of the corpus luteum;
