Description

Package number 7.4. ‘Women's Oncological Panel – 2’ is a complex of tumor markers to assess the risks of the most common cancers in women: breast (CA 15-3), thyroid gland (thyroglobulin), pancreas, gallbladder (CA, 19-9). ovaries (CA 125, HE4; calculation of the risk of ovarian cancer (ROMA index, %)), digestive tract and, in some cases, other organs (REA, SEA).

The test is recommended for women for a comprehensive risk assessment of a wide range of cancers, especially if the family has or had cancer.

In case of a change in the value of the tumor marker, an additional examination is necessary, since an increase in the indicator can be observed not only in the case of cancer, but also in the case of inflammation and a benign process.
