Description

Package 4.5 is a comprehensive study to assess the risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) caused by the formation of atherosclerotic plaques. Lipid testing can be used to identify people at high risk of cardiovascular disease before they develop cardiovascular disease or a heart attack. This is a routine test to determine whether your cholesterol is normal or at risk.

When and who needs the test?

1. As a screening for people who have one or more risk factors: Age over 45 years for men and 50-55 years for women.

  • smoking cigarettes;
  • overweight or obesity;
  • unhealthy eating;
  • insufficient physical activity;
  • high blood pressure (hypertension);

  • having diabetes or prediabetes.
