1075. Low-Density Lipoproteins (LDLC)
Description
Lipoproteins – transport complexes, responsible for the movement of triglycerides and cholesterol through the body.
LDL provides the transport of fats to the fat cells, where they are deposited. As a result, LDL cholesterol increases the levels of various fats in the body. Their definition is used to diagnose disorders of fat metabolism, strokes, hypertension, ischemic heart disease. LDL should be studied in combination with HDL, cholesterol, triglycerides, for example, using package No. 4.5.
