Description
Uric acid is the end product of purine metabolism. Approximately 70% of uric acid is excreted from the body through the kidneys.
Abnormal levels of uric acid in the
blood occurs with metabolic disorders in the body and kidney pathology. This
indicator is used to diagnose gout, urolithiasis. It should be combined with
the determination of creatinine, C-reactive protein, rheumatoid factor.
