Description
Iron is a trace element that is involved in the transport of oxygen and tissue respiration in the human body.
Decreased iron levels are one of the most common causes of anemia. Assessment of iron levels is used to diagnose anemia, iron intoxication, hypo- and avitaminosis, diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. This indicator will be most informative when it is assessed in combination with other indicators of the development of anemia, for example, when using package No. 160.
