Description

Diagnosis of Sex Hormone Deficiency – a test package to assess reproductive and endocrine function. Includes FSH, LH, DHEA-s, estradiol, and free testosterone index. The panel helps detect hormonal imbalances that may cause infertility, menstrual irregularities, decreased libido, or low energy.

Diagnosis of Sex Hormone Deficiency – a comprehensive laboratory panel designed to evaluate reproductive and endocrine function in both men and women. Hormonal imbalance is often associated with infertility, menstrual disorders, reduced libido, erectile dysfunction, premature ovarian failure, or andropause in men.

The package includes:

FSH (Follicle-Stimulating Hormone) – indicates ovarian reserve in women and spermatogenesis in men, useful in infertility and menstrual cycle disorders.

LH (Luteinizing Hormone) – triggers ovulation and progesterone production in women, and stimulates testosterone secretion in men.

DHEA-s (Dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate) – the main adrenal androgen, a precursor for estrogens and testosterone; important in assessing adrenal function and hyperandrogenism.

Estradiol (E2) – the principal female hormone, vital for fertility, bone density, cardiovascular health, skin condition, and mood regulation.

Free Testosterone Index – a measure of biologically active testosterone in men (relevant for fertility and sexual function) and a marker of hyperandrogenism in women (PCOS, ovarian or adrenal tumors).

This panel is recommended in cases of infertility, irregular or absent menstruation, early menopause symptoms, low libido, erectile dysfunction, chronic fatigue, osteoporosis, mood swings, or during monitoring of patients receiving hormone therapy.
