Description

A package for assessing hormonal balance: testosterone, estradiol, LH, prolactin, and SHBG. It helps identify the causes of infertility, changes in libido, acne, menstrual cycle disorders, or hyperandrogenism. Recommended in cases of suspected hormonal imbalance in both women and men.

When and who needs the test?

Total testosterone – the main androgen, the excess or deficiency of which affects fertility, the condition of the skin, hair, and libido.

SHBG (Sex Hormone-Binding Globulin) – a protein that binds sex hormones; determines the level of free (active) testosterone and estradiol.

Prolactin – a hormone produced by the pituitary gland, elevated levels of which can suppress ovulation and sexual desire.

Luteinizing hormone (LH) – regulates ovulation in women and testosterone production in men.

Indications:

  • menstrual cycle disorders;
  • infertility;
  • hirsutism, acne, hair loss;
  • decreased libido and sexual function;
