Important information

*Attention! To conduct the research, you must present the original identity document (Ukrainian passport or driver's license). The research can also be carried out anonymously — without providing an identity document. If the order is for a child under 14 years old, the presence of a legal representative (parent/guardian) is mandatory in the laboratory department, along with the child's birth certificate and the identity document of the parent/guardian.

*You can get results only at the laboratory center where you take this test.

Description

Complex laboratory examination, including markers of five important infectious diseases, which can be asymptomatic for a long time. The research allows you to simultaneously check the presence of HIV, hepatitis C, syphilis, HTLV-1/2 and SARS-CoV-2 (IgG) markers.

This screening is necessary for general health control, routine check-ups before surgery, medical examinations or for preventive purposes.

Hepatitis C (HCV) is a viral infection caused by the hepatitis C virus, which mainly affects the liver. It is characterized by a high risk of transition to a chronic form with further development of fibrosis, cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. It is most often transmitted parenterally.

HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) is a retrovirus that infects CD4+ T-lymphocytes, causing gradual suppression of the immune system. Without treatment, it leads to the development of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). The main ways of transmission: sexual, parenteral, vertical.

Treponema pallidum (syphilis) is a gram-negative spirochete that causes a systemic infectious disease with a staged course: primary, secondary and tertiary syphilis. It can affect all organs and systems, including nervous and cardiovascular.

HTLV I/II (Human T-cell Leukemia Virus) – retroviruses affecting CD4+ T-lymphocytes. HTLV-1 is associated with the development of T-cell leukemia/lymphoma and tropical spastic paraparesis. The infection is often asymptomatic and has an oncogenic potential.

When and who needs the test?

  • For couples before planning pregnancy.
  • Donors of blood or biomaterials.
  • Persons who are at risk of infection due to work (doctors, military, social workers).
  • For self-checking after potentially risky contacts.
