Description
Intestinal yersiniosis is an infectious disease caused by bacteria of the genus Yersinia. Yersiniosis is characterized by intestinal damage by the type of enterocolitis. Penetration into the body of the pathogen provokes the release of antibodies by the immune system.
Determination of IgG antibodies confirms the role of Yersinia spp. in the development of the infectious process.
The test is used to diagnose yersiniosis, as well as differential diagnosis of enterocolitis.
