Description
This analysis helps detect the presence of a tumor process and perform differential diagnosis of various types of oncological diseases.
Metanephrine, normetanephrine, 3-methoxytyramine – these are substances formed at different stages of the metabolism of catecholamines (adrenaline, noradrenaline, and dopamine) in the human body.
The comprehensive determination of their levels plays an important role in the diagnosis of an adrenal gland tumor (pheochromocytoma) or a tumor that arises outside the adrenal gland (paraganglioma).
