A true (food) allergy to tangerine/clementine is manifested after one or even after several slices of the eaten fruit, drink or dish with tangerine juice in the composition.

Quantitative determination of specific IgE antibodies allows to assess the relationship between the level of antibodies and the clinical manifestations of allergies.
