Description

Pathomorphological examination during parathyroidectomy is a histological analysis of the removed parathyroid gland that allows assessment of the nature of pathological changes in the tissues.

When and who needs the test?

  • in the presence of changes in parathyroid gland tissues that require morphological assessment;
  • in cases of detection of structural changes or lesions;
  • if it is necessary to clarify the nature of pathological changes;
  • in cases where the results of other examinations are insufficiently informative;
  • to exclude tumor-related or other pathological processes.
