Description

The procedure consists in taking a small piece of skin for histological examination.

For diagnostic punch biopsy, a round ‘punch’ scalpel is used.

It allows you to cut a column of skin with a diameter of 2 to 6 mm.

When and who needs the test?

Recommended in case of a controversial diagnosis, non-standard course of the disease or a combination of several diseases.
